Gray Is Too Loud: Back in Vegas...

recap of the past week...

Spent 5 days in Maryland.
Day 1: Went to the dentist... I have two impacted wisdom teeth... and a plaque problem. Eew.
Day 2: Went to Howard Community College. Took a test to see if my knowledge of English is ok... turns out, it's more than ok. OK! I might be officially a student there by fall.
Day 3: Went back to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned. The dentist gave me a prescription for some mouthwash for my pained wisdom tooth gumline... there was a funny side effect that numbed all but my taste buds of sourness... eating is so bland.
Day 4: Went to Shenandoah National Park on the fourth... stretched the muscles on my shins too much... they still ache to this day. I was under the impression we were going hiking the scenic way, not the brisk hiking way... but still, I enjoyed the day, there's something I like about mountain air... it's so fresh. On the road to Shenandoah, there was a cabin that sells "ANTIQUES: MADE DAILY"... Went on an unexpected road trip when we missed our Interstate exits on the way home...
Day 5: Thought we'd go to Washington and turn me into a tourist. We should've gone to the Museum of Natural History or the countless memorials scattered around... but we got stuck going round and round instead owing to blocked roads. I don't know the complete details but there were a lot of bikers around... and I mean A LOT... on the streets, on roadsides, everywhere! After two pointless hours of driving around, we decided to head back to Largo. After eating at Five Guys (where I couldn't taste anything, too bad, they're supposed to be the best) we passed by Borders and I bought a book (suggested by aicha, though I didn't think she'd feel bad I got one first) and we thought we'd watch a movie also... PIRATES 3!! KIERAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! But then the power went out in the middle of the movie... when William was throwing overboard dead bodies lashed to barrels... the power didn't come back then.. we had to leave. And it was raining outside. Wow. My first American rain. :p An hour after we got home, we also had a blackout... talk about luck.

And today, I went back here... I drove the car back home from the airport... learned more rules of the road here. Now... I'm back on the throne, browsing endlessly, web page after web page... sucks....
